This session will provide an overview of issues to consider when applying an overrunning clutch, specifically focusing on overrunning, indexing and smaller backstopping applications. We will review factors such as: application function mounting, type of lubrication, speed and others that can be useful in selecting the best possible clutch solution for the application at hand.
Common industries that would use these products are: packaging and assembly systems, heat treat-bakery-chemical plating processes that require constant movement or that use fans for cooling or air exchange; pump systems, or stamping or cut-to-length processes
